Boy Scout Troop 303 Go To Cumberland Island

Dahlonega, GA July 14th-17h – BSA Troop 303 took five scouts on an outdoor exploration of Cumberland Island. The scouts enjoyed the island’s animals: wild horses, sea turtles, raccoons, ghost crabs, and armadillos, to name a few. With campsite at Sea Camp the troop visited the Dungeness Ruins, the Plum Orchard, enjoyed climbing in the live oaks, fishing, and playing on the beach. They worked on their hiking and camping merit badges and enjoyed Cumberland’s nature beauty. Scouts who participated this weekend were: Andrew Moss, Trey Greer, Chase Redner, Jacob Rivera, and Cody Berry.
